All students at St. Bernadette School, from ECC to 7th grade,
attend computer class every week.
Our technology curriculum is rapidly
expanding. We have a newly updated computer
lab. We are using a program called “Learning with Computers”
that teaches all students from Kindergarten to Seventh Grade how to use the
Microsoft Office suite and we also teach keyboarding. We do book reports,
research and other projects. Technology
is integrated into all aspects of the curriculum.
Each classroom contains an LCD projector so that teachers are able to
make their lessons more interactive.
In conjunction with the computer curriculum , we have installed mobile
laptop carts for our sixth and seventh grade students. Classroom teachers
are utilizing this system to enable the students to become active participants
in their learning.
