Exploratory
Exploratory is a class which
is designed to expose middle-school students to academic, vocational, and
recreational subjects. The
foundation of this program is to instill life skills needed to prepare students
for the future. They are taught
organizational and study skills to facilitate the transition to middle school.
Health units are covered according to grade level.
Career pathways are introduced and students are encouraged to explore and
inventory their interests using the Junior Achievement program. The
fifth graders explore making good life decisions through Project Lead.
